brickkkk house. that is what i think of when i think of emily + garrett’s wedding. you will see in the photos that we used this amazing brick wall for most of the photos. it felt like the hottest and most humid day ever in virginia that day. and i am so thankful for that wall because it had amazing shade + kept everyone happy.
this couple had an amazing first impression on me. i met with emily months ago for coffee and she told me their story. it is basically the “we were best friends, and then we fell in love” kind of story. which I LOVE. I am a full believer that before you date you should be friends before. emily is a story teller, her face, her hands are moving the whole time, she makes you feel like you were there. i love it.
the ceremony was very traditional but when the reception came, emily + garrett did what they do best.. break it down on the dance floor.
